We celebrate each dancer’s individuality, encouraging students to learn with intention, curiosity and consistency while building strong technique, artistry, confidence and independent thinking.

SKILL-BASED PLACEMENT
Every dancer develops differently.
At CGB, class placement is based on each student's individual technical ability, experience and stage of development - not simply their age or previous class level.
This allows students to train in an environment that is appropriate for their current ability while continuing to develop with purpose.
YOUR TRIAL
All new students are required to attend a trial class before enrolment is confirmed.
During the trial, our CGB faculty will assess the student's current technical level and determine the most appropriate class placement.
Previous ballet level, examination results or age do not automatically determine placement.
Following the trial, our faculty will recommend the most suitable CGB class and training pathway.
THE PROCESS
01 — ENQUIRE
Complete our 2027 New Student Enquiry Form and tell us about the student's current ballet training and experience.
02 — TRIAL
Our team will contact you regarding a suitable trial class.
03 — ASSESSMENT
The student will be assessed by CGB faculty during the trial class.
04 — PLACEMENT
Following the assessment, CGB will recommend the most appropriate class and training pathway.
