Building the Next Generation of Dancers
Chengwu Guo Ballet was founded by Principal Artists of The Australian Ballet, Chengwu Guo and Ako Kondo, with a vision to provide professional ballet education for dancers who aspire to pursue a serious ballet pathway or professional career.
Throughout our careers performing at the highest level, we discovered that exceptional dancers are not defined solely by natural physical ability. True progress comes from understanding, intelligent training and the willingness to learn.
This inspired us to create a school where students are taught not only what to do, but why they do it.
Every student who joins Chengwu Guo Ballet is encouraged to take ownership of their learning, develop discipline, think independently and build the foundations required for long-term success.
Our role as teachers extends beyond technical instruction. We mentor, guide and challenge each student, helping them grow into confident, knowledgeable artists who are prepared for the demands of professional ballet training.
